Lacy

Sold  all my photo gears and almost quit photography – then again i fell in love with vintage cameras and film. But its altogether a new world to me and it is quite expensive to shoot on film. And i also have a big learning curve ahead – with light meter and film development (would keep me interested). Got couple of cheap film cameras from ebay and wanted to try out my film attempt on a portrait shoot.

Lacy wanted a shoot with me in Philadelphia and thanks to her patience; i was shuffling between canon 5D mk II, Olympus OM2n and Keiv 88. I used y 5D to get the light meter reading and also i wanted to have safe shots for Lacy`s port. Lacy is extremely beautiful and talented model. Some of the pictures from the shoots,

Andrea : From Russia with Love

It appears, i have started a new addiction of collecting vintage lens (ofcourse cheaper ones) and probably starting a project to use manual lenses on my Canon 5D. Thanks to China for making it possible by offering cheap adaptors to use these glasses on Canon.

Vintage lens are possibly not the sharpest glass (atleast my copy) compared to expensive latest offering but it does produce unique bokeh with a soft/vintage render to the image. Andrea is one sweet kid and she drove from Doylestown to help me test these russian lens.

Leena Fontane

It has been almost 2 months since i had my hands on pictures - personally, i wanted to slow down and do very limited shoots and wanted to take a break from photography for a while. Meanwhile, things have been lot crazier in my life (both personal as well work). Despite of all these, there was a time when i was addicted to Lost – lost almost two weeks into it.

I had a chance to work with talented make up artist Shayo and beautiful Leena but i took real long to process the images. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.
